Ruby in the Dust has an eclectic mix of styles and periods which we put together to show how an oriental cupboard will sit happily with a Georgian table, 50’s kitchenalia looks at home on a Victorian pine dresser and how a 60’s table lamp will look fab sitting on a country oak sideboard.

William Morris’s golden rule that will fit everything is to “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful”. This golden rule is our inspiration to source beautiful and useful furniture, accessories and soft furnishings for your home.

At Ruby we have an ever changing stock of ‘ New to You’ and retro clothing which is an extension to Sally’s long established and popular South Street Market.

We also provide a bespoke dress making service. Based on our original 40’s & 50’s patterns we create true vintage style for the modern female figure.
